The highly acclaimed film Pathaan, which took the country by storm earlier this year, is set to make its debut on an OTT platform tomorrow, March 22nd. The announcement was made on a popular channel's Twitter handle, which teased the release with a post that read, "We sense a turbulence in the weather, after all Pathaan is coming #PathaanOnPrime, Mar 22 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu @iamsrk @deepikapadukone @TheJohnAbraham #SiddharthAnand @yrf." Another promotional clip was also shared on social media with the caption, "Nothing, just Pathaan sharing some news with you 💣 Watch #PathaanOnPrime, Mar 22 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu @iamsrk @deepikapadukone @TheJohnAbraham #SiddharthAnand @yrf."
Pathaan, directed by Siddharth Anand and featuring a star-studded cast that includes Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Dimple Kapadia, and Ashutosh Rana, became one of Bollywood's highest-grossing films when it was released worldwide on January 25th. The OTT version is expected to include some previously deleted scenes. One of the film's biggest highlights was Salman Khan's cameo appearance as 'Tiger.' In a recent interview with ETimes, Siddharth Anand shared, "They (SRK-Salman) just had so much love for each other, there was just so much positivity, they wanted to give each other space rather than hog a scene or a sequence. They were selfless and that just shows onscreen." When asked about the possibility of a sequel, the director stated, "We are just so immersed in the euphoria of Pathaan that there is nothing else happening right now. It is still doing so well, by God's grace, so the journey of the sequel, whenever it does, we will make a big announcement about it."nothing, just Pathaan sharing some news with you 💣
